What will be my role in the event planning process if I/We hire you?

I am here to help, not take over! It is your event through and through. I want to make sure you enjoy your event to its fullest while remaining the host and decision maker. If I overstep or do too much, you tell me!

How are you different from other planners?

Weddings & Events are my THING. I am an eldest daughter with Type A tendencies, and I’ve channeled that energy into executing events for well over a decade (hello Mom’s birthday every year…). I’m also flexible in what I can offer. As a one-(wo)man business, I have full control on what I can offer and for what cost. Don’t be afraid to ask! Plus, I’m sassy…usually helps on event days to lighten the mood!

Do you take on more than one event a day?

If I’m booked for a day-of coordinating gig, never! I am yours for the day! If someone hired me to help consult but I’m not needed on the big day (say an aunt takes on day-of duties or your venue has a dedicated coordinator), then I’m happy to help multiple events happening on one day.

When you say that your pricing is flexible, what does that mean?

I’m happy to help all couples and groups to help them achieve a great wedding day and if that means there is a limited budget, then let’s work it out! I have my prices listed on my services page, but we can negotiate.

With that being said, I am trying to make Cornflower Blooms my livelihood and with that comes bills. I need to make sure that the compensation makes sense for my time. While that may lose me some work, I have to remember to think of myself in taking on clients.

What payment method(s) do you offer?

Check, cash, Venmo, or PayPal! I’m working on card offerings, but a service charge will likely be applied.

What are your travel policies?

In the Nebraska area, I have my boundaries where travel is included in any package cost. Travel outside of the following limits will have a per mile travel fee: West of Milford, NE | North of Fremont, NE | East of Glenwood, IA | South of Nebraska City, IA.

If you’d like to hire me outside of the Midwest, I’m up for the challenge! Airfare, hotel, and any other travel costs will need to be paid by the client ahead of time.

What else do you offer?

While I’ve laid out some of my main services, I can also help with floral design, invitations, pre-wedding events, & location scouting. Just inquire if you’re interested in something I don’t have listed!

What clients do you work with?

I’ll work with pretty much anyone! Assuming you’re a good person :) If we find that our personalities don’t match, we’ll cross that bridge when we come to it. If I take on a wedding, I’ll work with any couple; gay, straight or in between (whatever that may mean).
